Best Johnny cake on the island but the rudest people as well. They actually close at 11:50 instead of 12:00. Asked a question about it, and the old fat lady with the glasses and head scarf was awfully rude. These people….smh
Some of the best Johnny Cakes on the island with a good variety of fillings. This is a take away spot. The wait can be long at times due to popularity, but the johnny cakes are fried fresh and are worth the wait. If you are unfamiliar, I recommend the worst dushi or a classic cheese.
You can get real Curaçaoan Johnny cakes at Nini's. They are made fresh while you wait and are deliciously soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. You can choose from various toppings. My favorites are with keshi and bakijou, but that's because I haven't tasted the others. The shop isn't big, you can park right outside, and pay by card. The Johnny cakes aren't expensive either. Highly recommended!
