Lush Cakes Curacao

What a wonderful bakery to work with! So friendly and easy to communicate with. They used our inspiration picture to create an amazing engagement cake for our special event. This was one of the most delicious cakes we’ve ever had. It was perfection! Don’t waste your time anywhere else on Curacao! The best!

The cake was not what we agreed. The taste was not the best. The process of payment and receiving the cake was terrible

My family and I traveled to Curacao to celebrate my daughter's 4th birthday, I contacted Lush cakes, 2 months in advance to have my daughter cake done. The day I was traveling to Curacao, we chat about the cake, just to make sure I have my daughter cake ready, it was a princess fondant cake, from my knowledge, fondant figurines are made days in advance!? On Wednesday morning 27th August, 2025 there was a shutdown of electricity island wide around 2-3am, fondant for the cake, supposed to be already made right? Because delivery for the cake supposed to be on Wednesday 27th August! I kept following up! Late in the evening, night time, no communication was received from Lush cakes, so I message, only to get a response about the heat, and electricity issues, that delivery may not happen, we went back and forth about this cake, while on my family vacation! She did offered last minute to cancel the cake order, I am talking about couple hours into when I was supposed to received this cake! All because she thinks I don't trust her at this point!? Obviously, anyways, she offered to do a princess cake similar or very close, as she mentioned she made many many princess cakes, I told her ok, not knowing she was making a butter cream cake for me, in my mind I thought she was just readjusting some of the princesses etc, because this is a fondant cake right? So again the fondant figurines suppose to be made already!? Then she said delivery will be early in the morning, she will try her best! 12am my phone rang, she's outside the resort with the cake, when put to meet her, a totally different cake, looking all tacky, nothing want I've ordered or expected. I did not take the cake. This was a very disappointing moment for my daughter, as she was looking forward to her princess cake, she cried for days!!! Asking for her princess cake. I will not recommend her, her actions seems very untrustworthy. Horrible Horrible service, spoiled my daughter birthday and part of out vacation I'm trying to figure out how to upload the pictures of what I ordered vs what she came with!

I had such a hard time finding a responsive bakery in Curaçao while planning from the U.S.—until I found Ms. Claudette and Lush Cakes Curacao. From the very beginning, Ms. Claudette was kind, professional, and incredibly responsive, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. She went above and beyond by delivering the cake directly to our hotel! The cake was a surprise for my friend’s birthday, and it was a huge hit—beautiful, DELICIOUS, and gone before we even checked out! Everyone loved it, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much, Ms. Claudette, for helping make our celebration so special. Highly recommend! 🎂✨
