An impressive sight to see, with some graves going back over 250 years. The flat blue stone gravestones are badly eroded from time and pollution. Interesting display with details of the history of the cemetery.
It was Amazing I really emotional to get to this cemetery knowing that not many people visit this place so we took the chance to give respect and pray at the graves at one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in this side of the world
It’s not easy to get there you need the management of the oil refinery to open the gate for you but once in there it’s very interesting to see
a lot of the graves are falling apart or in general the place is kept in respectful condition
This place is a must see for anyone interested in the Jewish history on the island
