JenPen Interior Design Studio

I recently had the pleasure of working with JenPen Interior Design Studio for a wall covering project on an accent wall in our living room and then cabinets in our laundry room. I couldn't be happier with the results! From the very first consultation, Jen was attentive, professional, and full of creative ideas that truly transformed the wall into stunning art! The design and resulting work by VESB (the carpenter) is both functional and beautiful. For example, the laundry room is now well organized and there’s a place for everything. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is evident in every inch, and the materials and aesthetics are just perfect. Throughout the process, Jen communicated clearly and worked efficiently, respecting my budget and timeline. I highly recommend Jen and her contractor, VESEB Interior Design, to anyone looking to elevate their home with stunning design work. I cannot say enough good things about working with Hubertienne! The holiday home that we purchased was dark and very run down. Hubertienne turned it into a bright, relaxing Caribbean oasis! She was very professional, organized and responsive. Her contractors and seamstress did amazing work. Everything was within our budget too!

When looking for an interior designer, I really didn't know what to expect. I wanted my home to reflect my eclectic style and extensive collection of Asian related artifacts and I was thinking perhaps a new wall color and some wallpaper, but it was so much more than styling a vase on a table. The first thing Hubertienne noticed when she walked into the house was " you have no lights in here" and then she let the light in! To me it wasn't only changing decor of my living space, but also a personal journey to create a life and space I don't need a vacation from. Whenever I walk through my front door, I feel like stepping into an Asian retreat. It turned out even better than I could've ever dreamed. The color scheme and mostly thrifted items work so well together and at minimum strain on the environment. An Asian dream come true, a trip to Bali or Tokyo without having to leave my living room. I definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking to update their space, be it commercial or private.

Hubertiene helped us furnish our (holiday) home in Curaçao in a professional, creative, and hands-on manner. She is extremely service-oriented and thinks in solutions.
