Curacao Maritime History Museum / A treasure chest full of history

$10 US gets access to a cozy 3 story museum that took me about an hour to run through. While it definitely has a maritime tilt, it feels like a fairly complete history of Curacao because the sea is intrinsic to every part of its history. All into is in both English and dutch. Definitely recommend.

Lots of potential, and as a shipping enthusiast and professional, I am easily enthusiastic when it comes to the Maritime... unfortunately, the layout/design is not quite pleasant, the narrative is not set up chronologically, and the interior certainly does not reflect the style it appears to have from the outside. The ship models and all the displayed information are very interesting. It is simply time for an upgrade to ensure the museum continues to exist. It certainly deserves it!

Very beautiful and interesting museum. Very friendly people at the front desk. A must-do if you are on Curaçao.
