The Curaçao Museum

Quaint local museum. A bit of history and art. The building itself is super interesting - a study of architecture of the time and the locale. The basement sits up and the air flowed under the building to cool and then came into the main part of the building through pretty wooden vents in the floor. The oven is on the concrete wrap around veranda area. The out buildings have some interesting stuff too, not be missed. The garden has some pretty art too.

It is an interesting place to learn more about the history and (modern) culture of the island. The collection includes partly modern art, historical objects, and authentic furniture from the colonial era.

Nice museum, definitely worth a visit to learn something about the history of Curaçao.
